I am hard on everything, so I haven't noticed! I did grind the sand down more for the final batch so it was quite smooth! But a lot of non-synthetic pigments begin with something course or hard!
I was introduced by lovely artist India Flint to latvian Deep Deep Light, they produce wonderful watercolours from natural things, think they would be delighted by your Anselms!
