I am Margaux Kent, co-founder of Peg and Awl. I love to make things and find astonishments everywhere. I’ve kept journals, that I make, for most of my life. I started on Substack without a plan — just the desire to see where this opening leads.

Like a freshly bound book that initiates a new project, Substack’s format has guided and inspired me into new ways of sharing my adventures, curiosity, and inspiration that I hope, in turn — inspires you!
