First, I am thinking of changing the name of my Substack from Resounding Little Voices — the name of an unfinished project I’d like to finish someday — to Being Margaux Kent. What do you think?
(Gah! Poll reset. Please revote if you are here!)
And today’s small thoughts:

I have so many of these little handmade books and pop them in my back pocket for notes during a night walk or hike. Reading them is always a bit challenging because my walking penmanship is a mess. I may not write for the reading as much as to put a thought into my brain for later recall.

If you’d like to make your own little night-walking book, we share tutorials on YouTube for a variety of notebooks and bookbinding methods, including these simple notebooks.
We are putting together our first Bookbinding Bundles, which will be included in our next Of a Kind collection at Peg and Awl — sign up here! Since you are signed up here, the drop is Saturday, June 20th, at 10ish am EST! Each pouch is filled with an assortment of eleven new and vintage treasures for making little books. We’ve been slowly gathering and making the kind of objects often spied on my own desk for these!

Is that Resounding little voices is so like you, you notice small beauty in things
I just love you sketch books, all your books actually Margaux. They create an itch that reveals I must soon start making my own. ♥️
