Loving all of this. The starter entry (leaving out the illnesses) the follow up sea entries. I enter a whole part of you I didn’t know, such treasures.

Particular favourites: the self-portraits, sea washing-ups, quotes - ‘nor do I tell the whole truth of myself, only what it pleases me to relate, only what is true ‘

Thank you Jill! I am enjoying returning to the old pages and all of their chaos. I am finding parts of me I've forgotten. I seem to have remained largely the same, despite it all.

As a sailor, I do appreciate this adventure into your journals and drawings, very special. I’ll spend some time looking and really digesting all this. Wonderful! Appreciate you and your work. Thank you!

So much inspiration on these pages. I have added Lawrence Sterne to my reading list, along with the voyages of Sindbad from Arabian Nights and Dr Glas.

Oh how lovely to see what’s in those stacks of treasure. Totally interested in a copy of the boat. Oh by the way my husband is loving his first Peg and Awl Journal. He is writing such beautiful poems in Korean and illustrations. I think he is understanding my journal obsessions now haha. Thanks for sharing some of the inner pages. I’m loving the photographs from your past as well ^_^.
